Job Overview We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor for the online Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. This role will specialize in instructing the course on Principles of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, aimed at enriching students’ comprehension of epidemiology and advanced biostatistics... Key Responsibilities • Provide course instruction in alignment with the established curriculum. • Assist students in achieving course objectives and learning outcomes. • Facilitate and moderate online discussions to encourage student engagement. • Conduct online office hours and offer individual support as required. • Assess assignments and deliver constructive feedback within 5 days. • Respond to student communications within 24-48 hours. • Comply with the expectations set forth in the adjunct instructor contract. Required Skills • Strong grasp of epidemiology and biostatistics. • Proficiency in research methodologies related to public health and disease patterns. • Effective online teaching and communication abilities. • Competence in facilitating online discussions and engaging students effectively. Qualifications • Terminal degree in epidemiology or a related discipline. • Demonstrable experience in teaching epidemiology, population health, or demography. • Familiarity with research methods pertinent to public health and disease trends.
