Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and academic success. This role requires a commitment to developing lesson plans, utilizing learning technologies, and adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. Duties • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. • Utilize various learning technologies to enhance the educational experience. • Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. • Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere. • Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and other assessments. • Provide individualized support to students with varying academic abilities, including those in special education. • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices in teaching. • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and practices. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; teaching certification preferred. • Proven experience working with high school students in an educational setting. • Strong skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management. • Familiarity with learning technology tools and resources for effective teaching. • Ability to adapt instructional methods for diverse learners, including those requiring special education services. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that supports all students’ growth. • Experience in adult education or early childhood education is a plus but not required.
