We are looking to hire an experienced, critical-thinking, and self-sufficient Staff Accountant who is capable and excited to hit the ground running and have an impact within a relatively short period of time. High personal organization and time management skills are preferred. Must have the ability to solve problems using experience, research, and professional judgment. We are looking for a responsible and dependable... Staff Accountant who can provide and maintain a high level of satisfaction with both the team and the customer. This is a full-time remote position. We are looking for a Staff Accountant specifically with these requirements: ? Native English or close to a native speaker ? Bachelor's Degree or MBA in Accounting or related field ? Has at least 5 years of accounting experience, handling accounting responsibilities/functions ? Has experience working with software companies, fintech, lead generation, and/or online service-based businesses ? Knowledgeable in Accounting systems and related platforms such as Quickbooks Online, Xero, Bill.com, Expensify, Karbon project management, Gusto, MS Office, etc. ? Experience in managing and coordinating client concerns and solutions ? Familiarity with different online communication platforms (Google Suite, Slack, Loom, and Teams) ? Familiarity and comfort with technology and a variety of online service platforms ? Has the ability to prioritize projects, delegate work, set goals, and schedules ? Comfortable working on US hours Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): ? Bookkeeping for SaaS companies or similar online service-based businesses ? Revenue Recognition Management ? Management of accounts payables and receivables ? Management of accruals (prepaid assets, liabilities, etc) ? Profit sharing and equity calculations ? Budgeting and Forecasting ? A comfortable and functional knowledge of US GAAP accounting ? Periodic meetings with clients in which you will provide in-depth answers, explanations, and advice. ?
