Part-Time and Full-Time Positions Available | Fully Remote We’re Winning Ivy Prep, a fast-growing company dedicated to helping students achieve their college dreams. We’re looking for a passionate College Admissions Coach to mentor high school students (grades 9-12) and deliver personalized, top-tier admissions guidance. Based in Palo Alto, CA, we have a strong foothold in Northern California, but our reach is nationwide. About the Role As a College Admissions Coach, you will: • Manage College Applications: Guide students through every step of their college application process, ensuring all materials are completed accurately and on time. • Liaise with Families: Maintain open communication with parents, keeping them informed and involved in their child’s progress while managing expectations. • Develop Strategies: Help students in 9th-11th grade explore and select majors and extracurricular activities that align with their strengths and aspirations. • Ensure Accountability: Keep... students on track toward their academic and personal goals and ensure they remain focused and committed. • Meet with Students & Parents: Provide personalized guidance in online meetings with students and/or parents. What We’re Looking For: • Education: Undergraduate or graduate degree from a top 25 US university (Ivy League, Stanford, MIT, etc.) • Experience: You are at least 2-3 years out of your undergrad or currently in a graduate program. • Availability: Minimum 10-15 hours per week, with availability to meet during after-school hours (PST). Preference is given to candidates looking for a long-term commitment. • Strong Communication Skills: You have exceptional written and oral communication skills, and can craft clear and compelling messages for students and parents. • Interpersonal skills: You excel at connecting with teenagers, earning their trust, keeping them motivated, and providing thoughtful, constructive feedback on college applications. You’re equally comfortable connecting with their parents in a professional manner. • Mission-Driven Approach: You are passionate about making a positive impact through education.
