Remote Data Entry Clerk

CMSP is now hiring for a Remote Data Entry Operator opportunity in the state of Virginia. Job Description: Work through tickets and have to handle each request. Very repetitive and very fast paced. No such thing as an over communicator. Use of Outlook and teams. Person is flexible to switch gears quickly. Must haves:

  • Attention to detail, Data integrity-making sure that data is accurate
  • 1-2 years of Microsoft Office, excel, outlook, teams, ETC.
  • Customer service-on the phone as speaking with vendors throughout the day

  • Work consists of tasks that are very routine, or well defined, with specific instructions to achieve standardized solutions.

PROBLEM SOLVING:

  • Problems and issues faced are routine and solutions are clear.
  • Follows a well established and familiar set of job activities and/or job process to solve a problem.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
  • Detect errors by the use of verifying procedures and make changes as instructed.
  • May transcribe data from source material into computer-compatible format.
  • Require the ability to exercise independent judgment and employ basic reasoning skills.
  • Proofread and edit own work and exercises some judgment in determining letter and report formats.
  • Maintain records of data input.
  • Provide key support for functional groups, including performance of a wide variety of specialized clerical functions involving compiling and arranging data, making computations, laying out and preparing reports, processing and coding documents, and maintaining specialized and comprehensive records and filing.
  • Make standard calculations to accurately compile and report statistics.
  • Gather, compile, and verify information and enter it accurately into documents such as reports, presentations or forms; and office systems such as databases or spreadsheets.
  • Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.

ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhering to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Performing other duties or functions as requested by management.

SCHEDULE: Remote role-Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm with 30 min unpaid lunch but can discuss further in interview Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour Benefits:
