Standard Working Hours: Full-time, Day Shift, 8:00AM to 5:00PM The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. Education

• 2-year RN associate's degree, 3-year RN diploma, BSN, MSN, OR RN doctorate level degree required

Certification/Licensure

• Virginia or multi-state RN licensure required

Experience

• Gastroenterology experience preferred

Certified Medical Assistant - Afton, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, and Ruckersville, VA These positions are in a doctor's office setting. As a Medical Assistant with Sentara, you will work directly with a doctor conducting phlebotomy (lab), clinical and clerical duties. This position's primary responsibilities include bringing the patients into rooms, taking vitals, verifying patient information, and preparing them for the doctor. You will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients. Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or
• Certified EMT (EMT-B or AEMT) required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Athletic Trainer - Harrisonburg, VA Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is now hiring a Full-Time Athletic Trainer in Harrisonburg, VA! This opportunity takes place working with various athletic teams at James Madison University and comes with a generous sign-on bonus for qualified candidates! Hours: Mon-Thurs: 10a-7p, Fri: 10a-5p with occasional weekends. Travel is not required. Full-time work is still provided at the university during school breaks.

Overview

Document patient/athlete response to treatment and progress towards goals. Perform therapeutic interventions by accepted standards of care and within department policies and procedures. Provides effective instruction to the patient/athlete and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training. Assist the department in achieving financial goals. Bachelors must be in Physical Therapy or Athletic Training. Requirements:

• Bachelor's - Athletic Training
• Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) - Certification - Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC)
• State License required in state of practice
