Are you interested in working with Quality Assurance and test automation? Do you have experience with tools like Cypress and enjoy building reliable, scalable test processes?

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Engineering team and help us raise the bar on product quality through test automation and continuous improvement. We’re seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive person with a strong interest in automated testing who’s eager to grow and collaborate! And you can work remotely from anywhere in the world!

A typical workday might include

• Developing and executing detailed test plans and test cases for both new features and regression testing;
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for APIs, backend services, and web applications, using frameworks such as Cypress (or similar);
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (development, product management, customer support) to understand requirements and develop effective testing strategies;
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects and inconsistencies;
• Providing timely and detailed feedback to the development team to ensure swift resolution of issues;
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies;
• Participating in the design and review of new features, providing input from a quality perspective;
• Conducting performance and security testing to ensure our software meets stringent industry standards.

Requirements

• Indispensable Requirements
• Proficiency in Portuguese and intermediate English skills (reading, writing).
• Proven experience working in QA roles for 7 years or more.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Playwright), with a preference for Cypress.
• Solid experience in database testing, including writing and executing SQL queries.
• Knowledge of problem analysis and resolution methodologies.
• Experience with software quality assurance and testing of web applications and HTTP APIs, including automated testing tools and frameworks.

Additional Qualifications.

• Prior experience working with non-relational databases (e.g., Elasticsearch).
• Previous experience as a QA in systems based on microservices architecture, including tools like RabbitMQ.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
