Job Title: VMWare Consultant
Location: Remote
Mode : Contract || Long Term
Job Role:-
- VMware Cloud Foundation/vSphere Administration 7.x and 8.x Products (SDDC, AutoDeploy, NSX, VUM, SRM, vCenter, ESXi, Host Profiles, VVols, vDS, Kubernetes, vSAN)
- HPE and Dell hardware rack mount and blade systems
- HPE OneView & Dell Open Manage experience
- Broad knowledge and experience with hardware and software systems, including their installation, maintenance and life cycles
- Basic network troubleshooting experience
- Familiarity with scripting or development language (PowerShell, JavaScript, Ruby etc.)
- Position is for Sunday-Thursday evenings (second shift)
- Able to be a point-of-contact for technical questions that may arise
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiar with the audit and compliance tenants of ITIL
- Worked in the healthcare industry before
- Experience working with a geo-dispersed team
- Collaborative work with rolling out performance bulletin and discovered fixes both reactive and proactive
- Collaborating with Engineering, Problem, Incident and Security management teams to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent
- Virtual fleet review and update of current revision levels of all firmware, drivers and upgrades that are required in the VMware virtual environment
