Job Overview

We’re seeking a passionate Junior Front-End Developer with expertise in React and familiarity with Web3 technologies to join our remote team. This entry-level role is ideal for a self-motivated individual eager to grow in modern web development and blockchain integration. You’ll work on user-facing features, integrating decentralized tools to create seamless experiences for our developer community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Integrate Web3 functionalities, such as wallet connections (e.g., MetaMask), block explorer data, and smart contract interactions, into front-end applications.
• Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and blockchain engineers to implement UI/UX designs and Web3 features.
• Write clean, modular, and testable code following best practices (e.g., component-based architecture, secure Web3 integration).
• Optimize components for performance across devices, browsers, and decentralized networks.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, security, and consistency.
• Contribute to feature planning, focusing on Web3 and blockchain use cases.
• Debug and resolve front-end and Web3-related issues reported by users or QA.
• Stay updated on React and Web3 ecosystem trends (e.g., hooks, Ethers.js, OpenZeppelin).

Required Qualifications

• GitHub Account: Active GitHub profile with at least 2-3 public repositories or contributions showcasing React, JavaScript, or Web3-related projects (e.g., Solidity, DApps). Your GitHub activity will be reviewed as part of the interview process.
• 0-2 years of professional or project-based experience with React (personal, freelance, or internship projects acceptable).
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with React concepts (e.g., components, props, state, hooks).
• Familiarity with modern front-end tools (e.g., npm, Webpack, Vite).
• Basic understanding of Web3 technologies, including:
• Blockchain wallets (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect).
• Block explorers (e.g., Etherscan, Polygonscan).
• Smart contract basics and tools like Solidity or OpenZeppelin libraries.
• Basic knowledge of version control using Git.
• Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Web3 libraries (e.g., Ethers.js, Web3.js) for blockchain interactions.
• Hands-on experience writing or interacting with Solidity smart contracts.
• Familiarity with OpenZeppelin for secure smart contract development.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, React Context).
• Knowledge of TypeScript for type-safe React and Web3 development.
• Exposure to CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Styled Components.
• Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
• Contributions to open-source Web3 or blockchain projects on GitHub.
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or blockchain node APIs (e.g., Infura, Alchemy).
