The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in paralegal work and possess strong leadership abilities to manage a team of Paralegals and Legal Assistants. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the legal support team, ensuring high-quality paralegal and administrative support, while performing paralegal duties as needed.Key Responsibilities:· Team Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of paralegals, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and professional development.· Paralegal Work: Perform paralegal work, as needed, including legal research, document preparation and review, and case management.· Quality Control: Ensure accuracy and compliance in all legal documents and processes handled by the paralegal team.· Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the paralegal team.· Project Management: Coordinate and manage legal projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to company policies and procedures.· Communication: Serve as a liaison between the paralegal team and other divisions, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.· Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, project status, and other relevant metrics to management.Basic Qualifications:· Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.· Paralegal certification preferred.· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.· Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.· Proficiency in legal research tools and software.· Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Location: Hybrid - The individual will be required to work 3-4 days onsite in our Chevy Chase, MD office.Annual Salary $151,700.00 - $235,750.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate.
