VP - Medicare Territory Leader - Southeast

Description:

• Overall accountability for the territory P&L and management of the Medicare business in the Southeast.
• Leading strategic direction for measurable productivity results.
• Developing a robust multi-market strategy for sustainable growth.
• Delivering superior financial performance through cross-functional collaboration.
• Coordinating end-to-end bid strategy development for assigned markets.
• Promoting business practice consistencies across the territory.
• Ensuring multi-state Medicare/Medicaid alignment and anticipating regulatory changes.
• Educating, developing, and mentoring team members for succession planning.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of relevant experience in line of business management.
• Deep knowledge of the Medicare business.
• P&L expertise with a strong financial focus.
• Experience leading change across multiple markets/states.
• Ability to deal effectively with multiple internal and external clients.
• Strong facilitative leadership and business problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of insurance regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Knowledge of value and risk-based provider contracting.
• Knowledge of current healthcare marketplace dynamics and Aetna’s position.
• Proven team leadership experience.
