Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Event Sales & Services Coordinator to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for driving event sales, building strong client relationships, and coordinating the successful execution of events. This position offers the flexibility of working full-time or part-time from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, individuals, and organizations.
  • Conduct virtual site visits and deliver presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and expectations.
  • Create detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate all logistics, including virtual and physical event components.
  • Manage events virtually, ensuring smooth execution and handling any issues that arise.
  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to secure necessary event services.
  • Work with internal staff and departments to ensure all aspects of the event are covered.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and gather client feedback.
  • Prepare reports and maintain records of event details and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in event planning, sales, or a related role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Sales-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Proficiency with virtual meeting and event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must reside in Westchester County, New York, or a 30-mile radius around it.

Additional Information Compensation: The compensation for this role is performance-based, with the potential to earn up to $5,000 per month. Westchester Networking for Professionals (WNFP) commission structure include tiered commission rates based on performance.
