Job Duties and Responsibilities of Local Delivery Specialist:

• Operate a tractor-trailer safely in order to transport diverse products to customer destinations based on a scheduled route plan.
• Understand and enforce safety protocols and procedures to safeguard the safety of yourself, your team, and the merchandise being transported.
• Developing strong bonds with customers and becoming acquainted with their operations is essential for reliably meeting their requirements and satisfying their expectations.
• Always conduct thorough checks before and after your journey to guarantee the safety of the vehicle.
• Provide support in the loading and unloading of products as needed, emphasizing the importance of accuracy and efficiency in the delivery process.
• Document all delivery details diligently, encompassing invoices, receipts, and logs.

Qualifications and Experience of Local Delivery Specialist:

• Graduates of driving schools are encouraged to submit their applications.
• It is required to be at least 21 years old.
• Have a current Commercial Driver’s License Permit.
• Competence in the English language for proficient reading, writing, and communication.
• Physically capable of lifting, pushing, or moving products weighing up to 40-60 pounds, occasionally dealing with items weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Capacity to adjust availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays as required by the position.
• Acceptance of the need to attend a CDL-A training program, acknowledging the necessity of being away from home for the training.
