Communications Strategist

A top financial institution is seeking a Communications Strategist to join their team. This fully remote, open-ended contract role will focus on delivering high-quality internal communications that showcase executive leadership's dedication to employee engagement, recognition, and diversity initiatives. About the Opportunity: Contract:Open-ended Contract Schedule:Monday to Friday Hours:8am to 4:30pm (EST) Setting:Remote Responsibilities: Developing cohesive communication strategies for organizational initiatives Collaborating with stakeholders across departments to plan, create, and deliver communications Researching, writing, and editing speeches, scripts, emails, and talking points for executive leadership Creating communication plans that align internal messaging across the organization Providing creative solutions for high-profile internal campaigns and initiatives Ensuring content accuracy, grammar consistency, and alignment with corporate brand voice Analyzing the effectiveness of communications using tools like Adobe Analytics and making recommendations Leading large-scale communications projects and initiatives Qualifications: 5+ years of significant experience developing and executing communication campaigns Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience) Strong expertise in Project Management Knowledge of Communication project lifecycles Expert-level copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills for print and online content Proficiency in word processing, presentation, and project management software Executive-level interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities Desired Skills: Experience writing speeches for high-level executives Familiarity with Financial Services industry operations and culture Working knowledge of Change Management principles Apply Job!
