Freight Execution Partner – Facility Relief (Night Shift)

What You’ll Do • Monitor, execute, and respond to facility-driven live load requests between 6PM and 4AM. • Act facts and catch urgent requests from shippers needing overnight solutions (especially client overflow). • Secure capacity, cover, confirm, and assign trucks in real-time using GH’s asset pool or partner carriers. • Ensure continuity and keep operations smooth by maintaining GH’s reputation for reliability—“We never leave freight on the floor.” • Stay connected and communicate with facility contacts via messaging platforms, monitor load status, and track trailer availability. • Update, report, and input load details in the TMS and notify dispatch leads of successful bookings. • Escalate when necessary if truck capacity is maxed out or there’s a significant customer risk, flag it to leadership. What Makes You a Fit • Experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation tracking. • Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute. • Strong English proficiency (spoken and written) • Reliable internet connection and remote work setup (with at least 2 monitors) • Handle urgency without panic and keep operations moving. • Understand trucking beyond spreadsheets—you know what’s happening on the ground. • Proactive problem solver. Does not wait for approval, ready to act, and inform after. • Comfortable in high-stakes situations but meticulous with documentation.
