The O'Hara Family Seeking Child Care

In need of a part time helper 3-4 days a week. Main focus on spending time with the children, helping them learn and grow with activities games and just adding to the great childhood experience that I?ve been trying to build for them. Extras might be pick up or drop off for school, tidying up around them and having them help so they can continue learning and overall helping me try to stay on top of our home only in the areas regarding the children, and maybe the occasional date with my husband-something we haven?t had the ability to do in years. They are two wonderful, fun, adventurous, and imaginative little boys who care deeply about the people they build bonds with. Hi! I?m a sahm, but both of my boys have two very different versions of special needs. My oldest is autistic requiring support. Fully verbal, brilliant, and empathetic but with big emotions he has trouble managing and major sensory sensitivities. My other son has cystic fibrosis and that comes with a whole other world of knowledge and work for me. As they get older I need to be able to focus on the work I have to do managing their care school and all of that on top of everything else in life so having extra help to provide them with the childhood experience of activities and interaction is what I?m in need of. Juggling it all can be overwhelming at times. I?m very cautious about the people in my children?s lives because of their vulnerabilities and I always make sure they are comfortable with the people they?re around. It would be a perfect fit for someone who has experience working with autistic children in schools or therapy environments. Overall I am very flexible about a schedule and keep a casual environment in my home even though my boys can be anything but at times. Apply Job!
