Our team is integral to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our stores. We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Store Associate to join our team as an Evening Cashier. Job Summary: As an Evening Cashier, you will be the face of our store during evening hours. You will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized shopping environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced retail setting. Key Responsibilities: ? Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience. ? Accurately process customer transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system. ? Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely and responsibly. ? Assist customers with inquiries about products, services, and store promotions. ? Maintain accurate cash drawer and reconcile the cash register at the end of shift. ? Restock shelves and merchandise as needed to ensure product availability. ? Keep the checkout area and store clean and organized. ? Assist in managing inventory by participating in stock counts and monitoring product levels. ? Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive team environment. ? Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times. Qualifications: ? High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). ? Previous cashier experience or retail experience preferred but not required. ? Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. ? Attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing. ? Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions. ? Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [specific weight] as needed. ?
