Check goods against shipping documents and authorizations. ? Pack goods for shipment according to specifications, equipment characteristics, transportation methods and routes. ? Verify identification and quality of product. ? Prepares bills of lading. ? Posts weight and shipping charges. ? Stamps, stencils or attaches information and shipping instructions on containers. ? Loads shipments onto carrier. ? Receive and unpacks goods. ? Check incoming goods against bills of lading, packaging slips, etc. ? Maintains records of goods received ? Maintains necessary files and documentations. ? Rejects damaged, excess or misdirected goods. Basic Qualifications: ? HS diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience is required. ? Must have proficiency using computers; experience with Data Works, UPS and FedEx a plus. ? Able to work extended hours as required. ? Must be able to work in a fast paced environment ? Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
