Part Time Summer Mentor

Summer Program Details Hillsborough Community College's summer program offers a unique and rewarding experience for individuals who are passionate about working with youth. You will work closely with our experienced team to deliver high-quality programming that promotes learning, personal growth, and fun!

About the Role

This is a part-time position that requires flexibility and adaptability. You will work closely with our experienced team to deliver high-quality programming to campers aged 5th grade to 9th grade. Your primary responsibilities will include: ? Supervising and mentoring the daily activities of the camp. ? Planning and organizing engaging activities that promote learning and personal growth. ? Working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all campers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong passion for working with youth, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to think creatively and solve problems effectively. You should also possess a relevant degree (Associate's or higher) and at least two years of prior-related work experience. Additionally, experience implementing youth activities, supervising youth in groups of 8-20, and knowledge of STEM, entrepreneurship, and design thinking are highly desirable.
