Hotel Security Guard
About the position The Security Guard at DoubleTree by Hilton Reading is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests and team members, as well as the hotel property. This role involves patrolling the hotel premises, responding to emergencies, and assisting guests with their needs, all while promoting a safe environment and delivering outstanding guest service. Responsibilities ? Patrol the interior and perimeter of the hotel to identify potential safety and security risks. , ? Drive guests to and from specific locations using the hotel shuttle. , ? Assist guests with their luggage to and from their rooms. , ? Respond to emergency situations including safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and property. , ? Promote safe work practices among staff and guests. , ? Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents as needed. , ? Write reports and ensure the accuracy of necessary documentation. Requirements ? Must be 21 years of age or older. , ? Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. , ? Ability to work weekends and overnight shifts. Nice-to-haves ?
