Experienced Bookkeeper/Office Assistant (Roofing Industry) We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper & Office Assistant to join our roofing company. This role involves bookkeeping, receptionist duties, advertising assistance,and general office management. The ideal candidate has prior bookkeeping/office assistant experience, is organized, professional, and eager to contribute to a growing company. Responsibilities: Bookkeeping & Administrative Support: ? Maintain accurate financial records and enter transactions into accounting software (QuickBooks or similar). ? Process invoices, track payments, and reconcile bank statements. ? Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. ? Generate financial reports and assist with budget tracking. ? Maintain accurate customer and vendor records. ? Organize and file financial and project-related documents. ? Work with accountants for tax filings and financial reporting. Receptionist Duties: ? Greet walk-in customers, vendors, and team members in a professional manner. ? Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate departments. ? Respond to basic customer inquiries about services, estimates, and scheduling. ? Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including permit applications and contracts. ? Maintain a clean, organized front desk and office area. Advertising & Marketing Support: ? Assist with preparing and mailing promotional flyers to potential clients. ? Track and log lead sources (online inquiries, word-of-mouth, flyers, etc.). ? Help maintain social media accounts with project updates and promotions. ? Coordinate with local print shops or vendors for marketing materials. ? Support event planning for home shows or local sponsorships. General Office Duties: ? Order and manage inventory of office and promotional supplies. ? Assist with data entry, document preparation, and customer follow-ups. ? Provide general administrative support to sales and project managers. Qualifications: ? Required: At least 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in construction, roofing, or home services, but not required. ? Strong knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software. ? Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. ? Strong communication and customer service skills. ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). ? Ability to multitask and handle administrative duties efficiently. ? Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Schedule: ? Hourly Wage: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience. ? Flexible scheduling options available (full-time or part-time). ?
