Job Summary and Qualifications This is a FT Weekend shift on Nights, Friday - Sunday, 7pm-7am The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of the ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Technologist provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. What You Will Do

In This Role: • Demonstrate knowledge of all CAT Scan exam protocols for specific exams • Must be willing to work both CT and X-Ray • Be in charge of exam preparations and patient instructions • Utilize radiation protection methods consistently and use shielding as necessary • Obtain patient history and collaborate with the Radiologist on proper contrast usage • Be responsible for the post processing of data • Assist the physician as necessary for all invasive procedures to provide the best patient care • Assist during codes • Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment What qualifications you will need: • Associates Degree or equivalent Military Radiologic Technologist training per ARRT • TX State Registered Radiologic Technician • Registered with ARRT and Texas (MRT) • Basic Cardiac Life Support, BLS, issued by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) Medical City Heart and Spine Hospitals are hospitals for specialized advanced cardiovascular and spine care. Spine care is also provided for rare, hard-to-treat spinal deformities. Those include adult and pediatric scoliosis and spondylolistheses. We offer complex spine surgery and minimally invasive surgical options.
