DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

About the position West Texas Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and enhance our community presence. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional relationship-building skills, a flair for content development, and a proven track record in managing all platforms of advertising campaigns and community development. This includes, but is not limited to, developing and nurturing physician relationships and other referral sources, marketing to businesses and individuals, and assisting staff in establishing relationships within our referral community. This individual will identify opportunities for telling the “Rehab Story” through patients, staff, and services/programs specifically highlighting the great things happening every day. This role requires a collaborative leader who can work within a diverse team and is passionate about advancing the mission of West Texas Rehab. This position requires the ability to work independently and to prioritize day to day responsibilities; outgoing personality, assertiveness, the ability to deal with people in a variety of settings with varied educational and clinical backgrounds; and effective verbal and written communication skills. Key Responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans that align with the goals and mission of West Texas Rehab. The Director will create compelling content across multiple platforms, including written, visual, and multimedia formats, to engage the community and increase awareness of West Texas Rehab's services and programs. There is a large emphasis on the ability to write captivating stories and appeals that capture patient experience. Building and maintaining strong relationships with area referral sources, businesses, and the public to promote West Texas Rehab's services and programs is crucial, as this will ultimately increase patient volume. The Director will coordinate with local media outlets for press releases, interviews, and event promotion, and work closely with a diverse team of professionals across various departments. Collaboration internally with Communications, Donor Relations, Foundation, Human Resources, and Information Technology is essential to ensure consistent messaging and branding throughout the organization. Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, making data-driven adjustments to improve outcomes, analyzing referral trends, and identifying opportunities to increase referrals are also key responsibilities. The Director will develop and manage marketing budgets annually, coordinate special events designed to increase awareness and utilization of West Texas Rehab services and programs, and facilitate tours of clinical departments to promote awareness of all programs/services. This position requires endurance to perform tasks over long periods of work hours and the ability to perform essential functions without posing a "direct threat" in the workplace. Must be able to lift 25 pounds. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. , • 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the healthcare or nonprofit sector. , • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in crafting press releases, appeal letters, publications, and website/social media content. , • Ability to work within a diverse team, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. , • Managing website and social media content along with other digital marketing efforts. , • Ability to create engaging and effective content that resonates with a broad audience. , • Experience in public relations and working with local media. , • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives. , • Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and community engagement. , • Computer efficiency and intelligence to navigate all software programs expected with heavy understanding in graphic design software. , • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to represent West Texas Rehab in the community.
