Manager Procurement and Supply Chain

Job Description: Essential Job Functions: • Support the execution of procurement and supply chain strategies, focusing on specific operational objectives. • Manage day-to-day procurement activities, including the processing of purchase orders, vendor communication, and contract compliance. • Supervise and guide a team of procurement professionals, assisting with their development and performance. • Participate in the evaluation and improvement of supply chain processes, enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with organizational goals. • Assist in budgetary control within the department while meeting financial targets. • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes impacting procurement and supply chain practices. • Contribute to the development and tracking of departmental KPIs. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience • Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role in procurement and supply chain • Proven experience in supply chain management • Proficiencies in vendor management, cost control, and procurement strategies • A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology Other Qualifications: • Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus • Relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain a plus Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $82,300 - $152,700. Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
