UEP exclusively manufactures and distributes Repel® and Rain-Mate® umbrellas, Everlasting Comfort® memory foam products, electronic gadgets, and bedding essentials, as well as Le Chateau® wine decanters, Café du Chateau® coffee makers, LumiLux Toilet Light®, Triton® dog leashes, and Flux Phenom® magnetic screen doors. ROLE OVERVIEW : As a Jr. Technical Writer / Copywriter , you will play a pivotal role in creating and optimizing product listings for Amazon. Your content will drive visibility, communicate value, and ensure compliance with Amazon’s policies while aligning with our brand voice. You will also create detailed user manuals, how-to guides, and product care instructions that enhance customer experience and ensure a seamless post-purchase journey. This role will require close collaboration with product managers, designers, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional product descriptions, titles, and creative assets. RESPONSIBILITIES : : Content Creation : • Write clear, concise, and compelling product titles, bullet points, and descriptions optimized for Amazon SEO and user engagement. • Develop engaging brand stories, promotional text, and packaging copy. Technical Writing : • Create detailed user manuals, how-to guides, and product care instructions to improve customer satisfaction and minimize post-purchase confusion. • Simplify complex product information into easy-to-understand language. Research & Optimization : • Conduct keyword research to ensure content aligns with high-traffic search terms. • Perform competitive analysis to identify content gaps and opportunities. • Optimize existing listings to improve search rankings and sales performance. Collaboration : • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with product features. • Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and informative A Content. Compliance & Quality Control : • Ensure all content meets Amazon’s guidelines and brand standards. • Conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy and relevancy. QUALIFICATIONS : Experience : • Proven experience as a Technical Writer, Copywriter, or similar role (Amazon e-commerce experience is a plus). • Portfolio showcasing compelling product copy and / or technical documents. Skills : • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. • Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and keyword optimization tools (e.g., Helium 10, Jungle Scout, etc.). • Ability to research technical concepts and translate them into customer-friendly language. • Proficiency in grammar, style guides, and formatting for e-commerce platforms.
