Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Position Overview: We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) / Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our healthcare team. As an LVN/LPN, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and support under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Key Responsibilities: LVNs/LPNs are integral members of the healthcare team, responsible for delivering quality patient care and ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients. Key responsibilities include: • Performing basic nursing procedures, such as administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs. • Collaborating with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. • Assisting patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding. • Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during times of illness or injury. • Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations. • Educating patients and their families about health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques. • Monitoring patients for any changes in condition and reporting concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers. • Ensuring infection control measures are followed to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff. • Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and contributing to the development of patient care protocols. Qualifications: To qualify for the position of LVN/LPN, candidates must possess the following qualifications: • Completion of a state-approved vocational nursing program and current licensure as an LVN/LPN. • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a genuine desire to provide quality care to those in need. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in basic nursing procedures and medical terminology. • Knowledge of infection control protocols and patient safety practices. • Basic computer skills for documentation and electronic health record (EHR) use.
