Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Spark in Scala Python Databricks SQL Databricks Delta Lake Databricks Workflows and PySpark. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and drive innovation within our organization. The position requires a strong technical background and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional Responsibilities • Collaborate with data engineers analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions • Provide technical support and solve for data related issues • Develop and maintain Alteryx workflows for data extraction transformation and loading ETL processes Qualifications: • 8+ years in data engineering or a related field • Proficiency in Python programming with experience in writing scripts for data transformation • Strong knowledge of Alteryx Designer and Server for building and deploying workflows • Experience with SQL Server and Amazon Redshift including data migration and ETL processes • Familiarity with AWS services such as S3 Redshift and Lambda • Additional strong knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI Salary and Other Compensation: Application will be accepted until April 20, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $104,000- $165,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
