Warehouse and Inventory Specialist

About the position Join Run Energy and be a part of the growing wind and renewable energy industry! Run is looking to hire an energetic, hands-on go-getter to work with Run's large warehouse inventory of tools, equipment, and materials. This position involves a variety of tasks that are essential to maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, and issuing tools and materials, ensuring that our inventory is accurately tracked in our database system. Additionally, you will prepare daily tool and inventory requests for shipping and assemble tool kits for wind turbine jobs upon request. A key aspect of this role is the testing, inspection, and repair of tools, including hydraulic pumps, torque wrenches, electric torque guns, and manual torque wrenches. You will also be responsible for issuing replacement equipment and scheduling the return of equipment that requires testing or calibration. Effective communication with field technicians and field supervisors is crucial to remedy tooling issues that may arise in the field. This position requires working in varying environmental conditions, including both cold and hot environments, both inside and outside of the warehouse. Requirements • Willingness to learn new tasks and processes. , • Meticulous about detail and data-focused. , • Energetic and able to work in a fast-paced environment. , • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 45 pounds. , • Experience in warehouse, mechanical, and/or electrical work. , • Proficient in using databases and spreadsheets.
