About the position The Logistics Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing the logistics of sand delivery to various locations, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and efficiently. This position requires a strong focus on the proper placement of sand bins and adherence to safety procedures. The coordinator will oversee the mechanical performance of sand hogs, aiming to minimize sand spillage and ensure optimal dust collector performance. This includes managing the connections between trucks and sand hogs, as well as performing basic preventative maintenance under supervision. The role is essential in maintaining a clean work environment by managing excess sand and ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition. The Logistics Coordinator will also be responsible for completing an OSHA respirator fit test to comply with safety regulations. Responsibilities • Manage truck connections to sand bins with attention to proper bin placement and safety procedures. , • Oversee sand hog mechanical performance to minimize sand spillage on location. , • Ensure proper connections and basic preventative maintenance of dust collectors under supervision. , • Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to all site safety requirements. , • Hook up trucks to sand hogs and ensure all sand hoses are in appropriate condition. , • Clean the location of excess sand. Requirements • High School Diploma is required. , • Oilfield experience is preferred. , • Experience in sand coordination, trucking, or transloading is preferred. , • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work as a motivated team player. , • Ability to understand and follow all safety requirements and cautions. , • Effective communication skills with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
