About the position This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves retrieving palletized product from the scale packer line and moving it to the staging area of the shipping department. With a forklift, the employee will retrieve palletized product from the scale packing lines and move them into the shipping department depending on the loading schedule. If pallets are to be loaded directly onto a truck, the driver deposits the pallets near the shipping docks, where a second driver retrieves these pallets and loads them onto a truck. If pallets are not to be loaded immediately, the driver takes the pallets to the holding area. Responsibilities Retrieve palletized product from the scale packer line. , Move palletized product to the staging area of the shipping department. , Load pallets onto trucks as per the loading schedule. , Transport pallets to the holding area if not loaded immediately. Requirements Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently. , Adherence to safety protocols and Tyson policies.
