Automation / Quality Assurance Tester/Test Engineer

Job Description: Automation / Quality Assurance Tester/Test Engineer A successful SDET does software testing, both manual and automation, design and improve frameworks used. to test UI/API's using programming languages, Debugging/troubleshooting, finding root cause, prepare test data for services. What you will do: • Work Along with BA and QA to understand business requirements. • You create and execute test plans/cases based on requirements and design specifications. • Raising technical, security, delivery, and performance risks. • Be part of and help promote our DevOps culture. • Identify and implement continuous improvements to the Test development practice. • Understand the existing processing architecture. • Improve and design frameworks related to automation with newer standards. What you will need to have: • 3 + years of experience as a QA/SDET. • Well versed with Agile/scrum terminology • Experience in writing test plan, test cases, test summary reports, • Knowledge and understanding of test management tools like zephyr, ALM, x-ray • Postman and Soap UI experience testing and automating API's. • Good Understanding of test data preparation/mocking test data. • Understanding of frameworks related to automation based on application. • Good communication skills verbal/written, team player. What would be great to have: • Experience with Jira and Scrum • Can-do attitude with incident resolution/troubleshooting • Practical experience with the end-to-end Testing, Knowledge or hands-on with DevOps CI/CD pipeline including one or more of the following: Azure, AWS, Jenkins, Maven, Gitlab. • Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). • Good to have mainframe experience (Navigating and understanding green screen, lookup fields). • Knowledge of mainframe VSAM lookup and JCL jobs.
