Manual/Automation Test Engineer

Title: Automation/Manual Test Engineer Location: Remote Position Type: Full Time Job Description: • Expertise in Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle • Prior experience with automated testing in an Agile testing team using Scrum methodologies • Proficient in Selenium, Cucumber, Java, Git, JIRA • Strong experience in working with developers, system analysts and others to ensure automated tests accurately capture procedures to meet requirements • Strong programming expertise with knowledge of best coding practices and version experience as necessary • Serve as a technical expert on software testing with automation framework and lead other testers • Work independently to document and update test plans and produce test summary reports for each software release and provide testing results to Test Manager • Typically, responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees within technical discipline. • Must have strong experience with scripting and utilizing automation tools. • Well-organized and self-directed individual; ability to balance and prioritize competing requirements Required Skills and Education: • Bachelor’s Degree • 9+ years of IT experience in Application Software Testing • More than 8 years of direct hands-on experience automating test scripts • Minimum 3 years of proven experience leading and supporting test activities on a project, to include experience reviewing test deliverables, defects and test results created by team members. • Excellent communication skills and analytical skills • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required • Experience with QAF (QMetry Automation Framework) & TestNG Requirements: • Cucumber: 3 years (Required) • Java: 5 years (Required) • Maven: 3 years (Required) • Automation Testing: 8 years (Required) • Selenium: 5 years (Required) Compensation & Benefits: • Performance bonus • Yearly pay • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Note: Due to Background Check restrictions, we are unable to sponsor H-1 or C2C for this role An Equal Opportunity Employer: CAN Softetch is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
