Principal Engineer - Workday
Our team at Geico Auto Insurance is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Principal Engineer - Workday to join us in our mission of leading the way in auto insurance. As the Principal Engineer - Workday, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and driving the design and development of Workday solutions that are scalable, maintainable and secure.The ideal candidate is an experienced engineer in Workday, with strong problem solving and technical skills, and a passion for delivering high quality solutions. Your success will be determined by your ability to serve as a technical resource to the team, and to collaborate effectively with other engineers and members of the Workday team.Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent required 8+ years of Workday experience 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role Experience with development of Workday integrations Extensive knowledge of Workday Studio, Core Connectors, System Web Services, and EIBs Experience with building custom reports in Workday Ability to work onsite at our Columbia, MD office Responsibilities: Serve as a technical resource to the team and collaborate effectively with other engineers and members of the Workday team Provide technical leadership and drive the design and development of Workday solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and secure Develop Workday integrations, Core Connectors, System Web Services, and EIBs Build custom reports in Workday Communicate requirements to the team and ensure they are met Ensure quality assurance of all Workday solutions Develop and implement best practices and processes to ensure successful delivery of Workday solutions Geico Auto Insurance is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
