About the position The Software Development Engineer II position at Amazon focuses on building and enhancing the Amazon Demand Side Platform (DSP) within the Multichannel Advertising team. This role involves developing large-scale systems that provide unique advertising products, enabling advertisers to manage and optimize their campaigns effectively. The engineer will work collaboratively in an agile environment to design, implement, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance the advertising experience for customers. Responsibilities • Own, design, and deliver highly scalable systems for advertisers to build, manage, and serve ads. , • Collaborate with product managers to scope, design, implement, test, and launch new features. , • Simplify and minimize the steps required to create and optimize advertising campaigns. , • Influence design and deliver solutions that meet the needs of sophisticated advertisers. , • Work across Amazon to target ads to various devices using innovative formats. Requirements • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience. , • 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems. , • Experience programming with at least one software programming language. Nice-to-haves • 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing. , • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
