Summary

A data entry clerk is responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining company data into a database system. The ideal candidate should possess strong typing skills, be detail-oriented and organized, and have experience with Microsoft Excel and other data entry software. They should also have strong communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other team members. The organization is a fast-paced environment, so the ability to work efficiently is essential. Tasks and Responsibilities • Locate and correct data entry errors or report them to supervisors. • Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered. • Compare data with source documents or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors. • Store complete documents in appropriate locations. • Select materials needed to complete work assignments. • Analyze the responsiveness, confidential or privileged nature of documents. • Provide information to coworkers as necessary. • Entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correcting incompatibilities and checking output. • Keep information confidential. • Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations. • Comply with data integrity and security policies. • Apply data program techniques and procedures. • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Skills and Behaviors • Proven data entry work experience as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk • Experience with MS Office and data programs • Familiarity with administrative duties • Experience using office equipment, like fax machines and scanners. • Typing speed and accuracy • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation • Attention to detail. • Confidentiality • Organizational skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks. Required Qualifications • High School Diploma. An associate degree in the business administration system or greater is preferred. • 1+years of data entry experience • Proficiency in both English and Spanish • Proficiency with computer, Windows PC, and web applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications. • Ability to work 40 hours/week during standard business operating hours Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 4:30pm (It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime on weekends and holidays) Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in business administration system • Proven solid Microsoft Excel skills. Physical Requirements The E-discovery document reviewer must be able to: • Spend many hours reading documents in English through a PC. • Bend, stoop, stand, and sit for various lengths. • Lift and carry up to 10 pounds. This is primarily a sedentary office classification, and employees work in an office with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions, and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. Location • Hybrid Cognitive Demands • The Data Entry Clerk must be able to multi-task, working on various projects simultaneously while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. All information will be kept confidential according to EEOC guidelines. Required Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent (GED); • On-Site (San Juan)/ Hybrid as required for training. • Proficiency with computer such as Microsoft Excel, Windows PC, and web applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications. • Proficiency in English (Spoken and written); • Ability to maintain confidentiality/exercise discretion. • Experience in Data Entry 1 year • In order to qualify for the position, it is imperative that you complete a two-week training program at our office and reside in Puerto Rico. Preferred: Highly computer literate - must be comfortable learning new software.
