Job Description

Summary This position builds quality frame components required for the upholstery assembly process. These sub-components are delivered to the upholstery assembly process to produce upholstered furniture. Job Description: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Obtains work order to determine frame style and quantity Retrieves sub-assemblies and parts from storage locations Assembles components using glue, dowels, staples, and air clamps Set-up clamps correctly and check frames to assure they are in square, and angles are correct Inspects and check frames for compliance to quality standards Delivers frames to temporary storage for next operations Follows health and safety standards. Maintains a clean workstation and production floor Performs other tasks as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS: Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties Basic reading and writing skills Basic math knowledge Achieve performance standards Maintain PIV license as needed OUR PURPOSE: We are La-Z-Boy Incorporated.
