CDL A Specialist

- Maneuver tractor-trailers while placing significant importance on both road safety and operational efficiency.
- Confirm the roadworthiness of the vehicle through meticulous inspections before and after the journey.
- Develop strategies to optimize delivery routes for increased efficiency and timely completion.
- Abide by the necessary procedures for handling and packaging to maintain the safety of the goods during transit.
- Preserve clear and continuous communication with dispatchers and customers.
- Keep careful records of work hours and perform scheduled vehicle maintenance reviews.
- Adhere strictly to the safety regulations and guidelines provided by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
- Swiftly report any vehicle-related issues, occurrences, or violations to guarantee adherence to regulations.
Qualifications:
- Possessing an authentic Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Flawless driving record exhibiting a lack of significant violations.
- Adhering to the DOT's expectations for physical examinations and substance abuse evaluations.
- Efficiently managing time and organizing tasks are key skills to have.
- Skill in effectively handling and conveying large or unusually big shipments.
- Proficiency in customer service highlighted by a commitment to nurturing relationships with clientele.
- Ensuring the consistent implementation of safety measures and compliance with regulations, including promptly reporting any incidents.
Experience Levels Accepted:
- CDL Trainees
- CDL School Graduates
- Participants in our structured 12-week training program for new commercial drivers, designed to accelerate skill development for drivers with experience ranging from three months to five years.
Preferred Experience:
- Proficiency in operating a range of trailer varieties, such as dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
- Skill in handling various unit operations, combining vehicles, and utilizing multiple transportation modes effectively.
- Proficiency in managing household belongings and unique cargo handling.
