Job Title: Professional Engineer - Commercial and Industrial Construction Location: San Angelo TX [will consider remote/hybrid] Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Engineer to join our team in the commercial and industrial construction sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of construction projects, ensuring they meet all technical, safety, and regulatory standards. This role requires a blend of engineering expertise and skills in estimating and drafting engineered plans to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and review project plans, specifications, and designs. Conduct feasibility analyses and site assessments for potential projects. Supervise and coordinate construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety protocols, and environmental regulations. Optimize resource management, including labor, materials, and equipment. Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to provide project updates and gather feedback. Estimate project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment. Draft detailed engineered plans and blueprints. Ensure all projects adhere to applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the construction process. Maintain detailed documentation and records for compliance and quality assurance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial and industrial construction. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Proficiency in drafting software and tools. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
