Please see below for Complete Details. - Job Title: Network Incident Response / Firewall Engineer - Location: 80% Remote / San Antonio, TX - Contract Layout: "Permanent-Direct Hire" - Work Schedule: 10:00pm - 6:00am (Night Shift) - Starting Salary at Perm Hire: $95,000 - $105,000 + Full Benefits REQUIREMENTS - Secret Security Clearance (Eligibility) - Security+CE - CCNA - 2+ Years of Overall Network Firewall, NOC, Incident Response, or Similar Network Security Experience - 4+ Years of Overall/Combined Network Support - Experience with the following Network protocols and services: Routing Protocols (OSPF, BGP), Access Control Lists, Layer 2 Switching, Spanning Tree, Packet Analysis Job Description Evaluate circumstances, identify root causes, and develop a plan for resolution. Provide Tier I/II helpdesk support for all tenants in the DHA network. Triage issues and resolve and/or escalate to the appropriate network teams for remediation. Engage with internal and external customers to provide status updates on network issues. Troubleshoot issues with a variety of different network devices and protocols. Work in a team setting and make recommendations related to troubleshooting, device configuration, and documentation. Document projects, support actions, and other administrative artifacts to serve as reference material for related support activities and management staff. Ensure incidents and service requests adhere to established service level agreements. Resolve issues in a timely manner dealing with a variety of different network devices and protocols following applicable reporting formats.
