SAP ABAP Consultant

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working on migration projects and connecting legacy systems to SAP S/4 HANA.
• Proficient in managing SAP Transport (CTS - Change and Transport System) to move developments between environments (development, QA, production).
• Basic knowledge of SE80, SE38, SE37, SE11, SE93, ST22 (dump analysis), and SE30 (performance analysis).
• Advanced use of the ABAP Workbench for development, testing, and debugging code.
• Knowledge of the differences and required adaptations in ABAP for SAP S/4HANA (including performance optimization using CDS Views and AMDP).
• Experience with SAPscript, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms.
• Familiarity with Enhancement Spots for extending functionality without modifying SAP standard code.
• Experience with User Exits, BADIs (Business Add-Ins), the Enhancement Framework, and Modifications to extend and customize SAP standard functionalities.
• Knowledge of Web Services and REST APIs for integration with modern platforms.
• Development of interfaces using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and ALE to integrate SAP with external systems.
• Proficient in managing IDocs.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities

• Lead migration projects and integrate legacy systems with SAP S/4 HANA.
• Manage SAP CTS to move developments across environments (development, QA, production).
• Develop, test, and optimize ABAP code, including performance improvements for SAP S/4 HANA.
• Create and maintain SAPscript, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and interfaces (IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, ALE).
• Implement Web Services, REST APIs, and Enhancement Framework to extend SAP functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system performance and integration.
