Technical Lead - Full Stack Development

Take on a hybrid role that combines individual contributions to development efforts with leadership responsibilities, including guiding and mentoring the software team. Lead, mentor, and grow a team of developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, and innovation. Design, improve, and extend APIs for GrayMatter Robotics on-premise and cloud-based applications. Build and maintain a customer-facing, performant front-end application. Create and optimize systems for synchronizing data between on-premise and cloud-based systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to deeply understand customers needs and deliver a reliable, seamless user experience. Requirements: BS/MS degree in software development or similar/equivalent industry experience. Proven experience managing and mentoring engineering teams, including performance reviews, career development, and hiring. Experience designing, launching, and versioning APIs Experience with Python and AWS tooling Experience in frontend development with TypeScript, JS, Node.js, react, or similar Demonstrated experience creating production or live web applications Experience interfacing with RESTful APIs, CORS and modern authentication systems such as web tokens Experience with frontend development tools such as NPM and NextJS Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across multiple engineering teams and able to articulate technical design decisions Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities Must secure work authorization in the United States and maintain ongoing work authorization beginning at the time of hire through the entirety of employment Benefits: medical dental vision unlimited PTO 401(k) plan + employer match regular offsite events a discretionary fund for enhancing productivity Apply Job!
