Digital Payment Risk Leader

Description: • Viamericas, a leading global financial services company, is rapidly expanding their digital payments footprint and seeking a Digital Payments Risk Leader. • The candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks associated with digital payment transactions, including fraud, chargebacks, data breaches, and regulatory noncompliance. • This will involve developing and implementing robust risk management strategies across a company's digital payment platforms. • The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams like product, information technology, information security, legal, and compliance to ensure secure and compliant payment processing. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in credit risk, payment products, strategy or process transformation within financial services. • Strong understanding of digital payment systems and technologies. • Expertise in fraud detection methods and risk mitigation strategies. • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements. • Data analysis skills to interpret transaction data and identify trends. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. • Ability to work independently and demonstrate leadership skills, capable of using data and critical thinking to make real-time decisions. • Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines. • High degree of initiative, self-direction and ability to work well under pressure. • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills.
