What You’ll Do • Oversee the full claims lifecycle—from submission and investigation to adjudication and resolution. • Lead, train, and mentor a small but highly efficient claims team. • Develop and implement claims policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. • Identify trends in claims data to proactively manage risk and prevent fraud. • Ensure strict compliance with insurance regulations and industry best practices. • Collaborate with underwriting and sales teams to refine policy wording and minimize claims disputes. • Directly handle complex or high-value claims as needed. What You Bring • 5+ years of claims management experience, preferably in parcel shipping insurance, cargo insurance, or property & casualty insurance. • Active insurance adjusters license (required) must be licensed to handle claims in California (additional state licenses a plus). • Strong expertise in claims adjudication, fraud detection, and regulatory compliance. • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a team. • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills. • Experience with claims management software and a track record of process automation and optimization.
