The Service Fund team at Humana is looking for an experienced individual in Business Intelligence that will be working with large volume datasets and applying their ability to take action with data-driven results. This individual will work with internal and external partners, ensuring deadlines are met and financial transactions are executed with high accuracy. Humana is seeking an individual for the Senior Business Intelligence Data Analyst to provide support for its expansion of value-based programs, working heavily with providers and internal Humana teams to achieve success on the Service Fund team. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and valuation of new programs, as well as the maintenance of current programs. The role involves utilizing complex SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI, and other technical skills to drive process improvement and assist markets in managing their value-based relationships. Additionally, the analyst will conduct research and produce reporting of key performance metrics, providing an understanding of how the data reconciles and what it means for current and potential programs. The Senior Business Intelligence Data Analyst will assist in producing reports and completing ad hoc requests using Excel, PowerPoint, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other various analytical tools. They will also provide support for payments to value-based specialists and aid in the evaluation and expansion of all value-based programs into new markets and business areas. This position is crucial for ensuring that Humana's value-based programs are effectively managed and expanded, contributing to the overall success of the organization. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree , • 2+ years data analytics and reporting experience , • 2+ years advanced experience developing complex SQL queries , • Advanced Excel Skills (VLookups, Pivot Tables, etc.) , • Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics , • Experience in compiling, modeling, interpreting and analyzing data in order to identify, explain, influence variances and trends. Nice-to-haves • Financial or actuarial background , • Experience in data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI) , • Proficiency in understanding Healthcare related data , • Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
