Sr Consultant Corporate (healthcare) Strategy

About the position The Senior Consultant in Corporate Strategy at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) is responsible for leading and managing small to mid-size projects that address critical strategic issues within the organization. This role involves applying analytical rigor, conducting research, and synthesizing findings to provide actionable insights to senior leadership. The Senior Consultant will also coach and mentor junior staff, ensuring effective project management and collaboration across teams. Responsibilities • Conduct primary and secondary research to synthesize findings and identify strategic recommendations. , • Support strategic planning initiatives, including engagement with BCBS Plans. , • Lead mid-size projects and portions of larger projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. , • Provide coaching and oversight to junior staff, fostering their professional development. , • Develop executive deliverables and present findings to inform and influence key decision-makers. , • Build and maintain relationships across BCBSA to foster collaboration. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline. , • A minimum of 3 years of related business experience. , • Experience with business/product strategy development and application of analytical methods. , • Strong project lead skills with demonstrated experience in preparing work plans for small to mid-sized projects. Nice-to-haves • Familiarity with the health insurance industry and concepts is highly desirable. , • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills to lead hypothesis development and integration.
