Location: Hamilton #CCBIA Director of Internal Audit A favorite and well-respected client of Gpac seeks an Internal Auditor immediately. This is a full-service community bank that is customer service-centric and locally focused. This is a hybrid role in that there are a number of office locations one can house out of, and there is some branch to branch travel. Wichita, KS area, Southeast Kansas, Northeast Oklahoma are also possibilities. Compensation • Very subsidized BCBS family health insurance • Vehicle use or mileage • Family-friendly work environment • Vacation and holidays • Well respected position • Competitive pay for the area Requirements • The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand the importance of this position--that one is instrumental in protecting the bank as an entity. • $1BB asset bank size experience required • Certifications or education specific to Fiduciary experience • This position reports directly to the board regarding the internal bank policy compliance of the individuals and the team. • This is a position that requires a diplomatic, professional, and confident demeanor. • An ability to pay attention to detail is important. • This employee will literally be checking all aspects of the bank--every corner, to make sure all remains "bright and shiny" and that all departments and individuals hold to the highest standards of bank policy, which has made this bank successful for many generations. • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Pre-law, Public Administration, or similar is desired. • An internship in a financial institution or a previous banking experience especially in audit is helpful. • Bank examiner background considered, as well as a public accounting firm financial institution auditor background • Prefer someone who takes a consultative approach to communitation • Decentralized banking preference Please submit your confidential resume today.
