Senior Surety Underwriting Assistant
About the position The Senior Surety Underwriting Assistant at FCCI Insurance Group plays a crucial role in supporting the surety underwriting team by assisting in the acquisition and retention of profitable business. This position focuses on providing timely and quality service to agents and internal customers while ensuring efficient processing of contract and commercial surety new business and renewals. Responsibilities Provide administrative support for contract and commercial Surety new business and renewals. , Review correspondence, records, and reports and send to underwriter for evaluation. , Send contract bond status reports and manage contract bond closeouts as defined in the status update and contract closeout process. , Process standard renewals, rush requests, and issue bonds and riders within assigned authority level. , Determine and perform rating calculations based on company manuals. , Ensure proper documentation exists in underwriting file and is entered in surety system.
