Position Summary As a Data Engineer at CVS Health, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex data pipelines and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, ensure data quality and accessibility, and utilize emerging data technologies to optimize data processes and infrastructure to support our evolving engineering projects. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience with designing and building data pipelines and systems in cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform) 2+ years of experience in one or more modern languages, such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, etc. 2+ years of experience with SQL/NoSQL databases Preferred Qualifications Effective written and verbal communication skills within and across teams Experience with complex systems and solving challenging analytical problems Experience with Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipeline, and other DevOps principles/best practices Knowledge in GCP architecture, commands and experience designing & optimizing data engineering patterns in the GCP environment Ability to leverage multiple tools and programming languages to analyze and manipulate data sets from disparate data sources Previous healthcare knowledge and experience Education Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or related field required. Master’s Degree preferred. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $72,100.00 - $173,040.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
