Job Description

These work from home opportunities require individuals who strive to provide next-level care to clients and their customers and can excel in an environment where leads are provided. In this role, you will: • Handle inbound and outbound calls with prospects with the goal of enrolling them in relevant insurance products • Build rapport with callers to gain trust and understanding; gather all required data • Determine eligibility and maintain/improve quality results by adhering to established standards and guidelines • Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participate in educational opportunities • Manage prospect follow-up calls to ensure timely responses • Accurately process application/ information in systems; track and record outcomes, issues and inquiries and escalate as needed What we offer: • An hourly rate of $17.27/hour as well as additional incentives and monthly reward & recognition programs • Medical, dental and vision benefits • Paid training & PTO • Advancement opportunities – 80% of our frontline leaders have been promoted from within • Employee Discounts • EAP & Health and Wellness programs including a personal trainer dedicated to Sutherland Qualifications • An active state Life or Life and Health insurance license • Basic PC keyboarding skills and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) experience • Must complete the state exam for your life and health license prior to starting your on-the-job training Preferred: • Experience working with POS applications • Previous remote or call center experience • 2+ years of sales experience Additional Information We will provide equipment, however to work from home, you must have: • Excellent Internet connectivity: • Internet access speeds of at least 5 Mbps upload and 50 Mbps download – the faster the better! • In-house network, and a hard-wired Internet connection capable of continuously supporting outstanding call quality and high-speed response rates.
