Financial Guide (part-time)

Your Money Line seeks an enthusiastic and professional individual to join our team as a Part-Time Financial Guide (FG). The FG team is crucial in providing participants with clear and succinct financial guidance, catering to diverse backgrounds, and addressing various financial challenges and issues with empathy. The FG is a participant’s first line of contact and will be tasked with delivering and maintaining a high level of participant satisfaction. FGs are also responsible for helping to create financial education content to help participants self-serve on their personal finance journey. This is a part-time position with shifts from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. ET, at least three (3) days a week, for a minimum of twelve (12) hours per week. Employees may be asked to work up to five (5) days a week as needed. The employee must be able to work at least every other Friday. There are no weekend requirements. This position is remote, meaning you can work fully remotely and are not required to come to the Indianapolis Headquarters during your employment. • *About Your Money Line** Money is stressful. Your Money Line was founded by Peter Dunn (aka Pete the PlannerTM) and is funded by leading Midwest investors like Ground Game Ventures, Elevate Ventures, Rehab Industries, InnovateMap Ventures, and Gravity Ventures. • *Responsibilities** • Listen to and discern participant needs, identify viable solutions, and adeptly communicate possible courses of action • Provide participants with support by: + Answering questions via phone, Zoom, email, and chat + Sending necessary follow-up information outlining summaries and next steps + Managing recurring counseling appointments as necessary • Create and deliver educational support via webinars, short-form videos, articles, and other content • Escalate questions as necessary to senior members of the financial guide team • Attend training and coaching sessions as necessary to expand knowledge of services provided and stay current with industry updates such as policy changes and regulatory adjustments • *Preferences** • At least two (2) years of financial industry/coaching experience • AFC®, CFP®, or equivalent professional designation • Excellent organizational skills and communication skills • Ability to work under minimal supervision • Adept at learning new technology (e.g. Salesforce) • Excellent customer service skills • *Benefits** • Base hourly rate $28/hour • 401k with a 4% company match • Monthly technology stipend • Reimbursement for license renewal fees • Fun startup culture • This position is fully remote If you feel you meet these qualifications, you get excited by helping millions of people achieve financial stability, and you want to work with a diverse, hardworking team – we’d love to meet you.
